This semester I learned a lot of Media knowledge. Such as composing music in GarageBand and making it into a Podcast too. Also, I learned how to create an animation for my podcast. At first I use a lot of pictures and it was moving very slow but now I just need only 20 pictures to make my animation. Not only did I learn how to make a podcast in GarageBand but in I Movie as well. The last thing Ms.Hendrix mention we should use in our podcast was Kerpoof. Its a website on making pictures or drawing a picture. At first I didn't get how I was suppose to draw an Impressionist Drawing but my classmates and Ms.Hendrix told me what it should have in it. It wasn't the best picture but I did my best. I'm hopeing I would learn more this next semester in 2011!

Impressonist Allegiance Picture With Kerpoof!
This is an impressionist picture about my word allegiance. This boy is singing the pledge of Allegiance in school. I had a hard time making this picture because it randomly has some techinacal diffuculties when I opened it and I did saved it! I don't really know much of impressionist pictures but this is the best I can do.
Also, this is my first time drawing a picture in a computer and I'm not much of an artist too.

Other of my Classmates Podcast Rubric
Derives John H. | clarity of speech (Can understand every word spoken. Not too fast nor too slow. ) | creative look (the title, images, video and credits are all easy to see and make you want to look at the podcast. Illustrations are related to the word or sentence and feel original and fresh. The credits don’t go by too quickly and are readable. There’s a sense that the whole podcast has the same theme and look) | creative production (The music adds quality to the podcast. It’s not too loud nor too soft. You can hear speech over the music easily. The speed of the podcast is even and flows without blank spots or awkward cuts. There’s something interesting about the way it’s all put together. The Kerpoof picture is relevant to the word and a sentence and makes the podcast more interesting) | including all requirements (This week’s requirement was to use a Kerpoof picture with a cartoon that used at least one of the words. Great means they used more than one. There also must be 1. definition 2. WG sentence 3. Original sentence 4. Credits with no last names 5. Bibliography with name of web site and urls 6. Document named the word) |
Great | | | | They had all the criteria on top but it would have been better if they added music to the podcast. Also, maybe they did name the document named of their word I don’t really know! |
Needs a little work | | The timing is good but they should had put music in it to liven the podcast a little. | There weren’t any music but the Kerpoof picture was easy to be seen.
Needs a lot of work or isn’t there at all | Jessie spoken way too fast almost didn’t heard what she was saying!

Great | Everybody talked very clear! | The every picture had the exact timing when the next sentence began! The pictures all matched the sentences. | The music was not too loud and our speech was very clear. The speed of our pictures watches our pictures so there isn’t any black or white spots. | We have our definition, WG sentence, and original sentence. We also named the document of our word. |
Needs a little work | I need to take a deep breath next time because I paused a bit in the sentence! | I don’t think my group needs to work at timing or pictures. | I couldn’t see the picture sentences in the kerpoof picture so next time we need to work on that more. | We shouldn’t put our first letter of our last names and we shouldn’t name the bibliography credits for urls. |
Needs a lot of work or isn’t there at all

Kerpoof Picture
My picture was hard to connect because it has low variety of pictures. I think this might be one of the best web sites to use for creating a picture. Also, it has good quality picture etc and it has animated bubbles to the cartoon could talk which makes anybody interested. But, I might need some more details about this so I will try to spend more time in the bubbles!

My 2 Media Arts Videos
Heres one of my Week 4 podcast. It took me and my group a lot of time to edit and make this video in I Movie because we had some technical difficulties. But, we still finish it even though it took a very long time, and it wasn't really good but we did our best so its ok I will do better next time! But, I also learned how to create an animation and put it in GarageBand and IMovie now. Also, I learned that putting music will cause your viewers to like it more.
